Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and other clinical associates.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide individualized care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and other clinical associates
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing

Experience

  • One year experience in nursing preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • Current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS required at time of hire for experienced RNs
  • NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
  • De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
  • TNCC required within 6 weeks of hire for experienced RNs
  • PALS required at time of hire for experienced RNs
