- Work autonomously in the design and implementation of desktop solutions that meet business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between user groups and IT partners, facilitating effective communication and support.
- Understand the business implications of support issues and collaborate with business units to address them.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of desktop technology, including procurement and disposal processes.
- Coordinate project analysis and planning for all technical aspects of desktop-related initiatives.
- Manage schedules and technical instructions for contracted labor involved in desktop installations and modifications.
- Exhibit creativity and initiative in problem-solving to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation of hardware and software changes.
- Update inventory records and manage trouble tickets and service requests efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a desktop support role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and analyzing PC hardware and software issues.
- Intermediate understanding of Windows Server Operating System and domain administration tasks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly versions 2007 and 2010.
- Familiarity with LAN environments and communication protocols.
- Ability to perform complex troubleshooting of network devices and client software.
- Skills in audio-visual setup and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of printer maintenance and support.
