First Physicians Group, a leading primary and specialty care group on the gulf coast of Florida, is committed to providing high-quality healthcare to its patients. With over 590+ providers across 49 specialties and 70 practice locations, we are seeking Family Medicine physicians to join our team in Sarasota and North Port, FL.
Practice Details- New opportunities to join busy, collegial practices with existing volume to quickly ramp up new physicians.
- Excellent call schedules of 1:5 or greater.
- Options for Inpatient/Outpatient or Outpatient only.
- If outpatient only, our Hospitalist group will cover inpatient admissions at both hospitals. No OB.
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM, providing an excellent work/life balance.
- Clinic volume averages 18 patients per day.
- Preference will be given to physicians with an active Florida Medical license.
- A 2-year guaranteed base salary, with the option to transition to a generous pay model after 2 years.
- A full array of benefits, including health, dental, vision, long term disability, 403B Retirement Plan, CME, paid holidays, and more.
- A Commencement bonus and Relocation Allowance is offered.
- Four (4) weeks of PTO in year 1, with 5 weeks offered in years 2 and beyond.
- As an employee of a public, State of Florida organization, physicians are entitled to sovereign immunity, eliminating the need for tail insurance.
- We are a not-for-profit organization, 501(c)(3), allowing physicians to participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
- Florida does not have a state income tax.
