ProCare Therapy is a leading provider of speech therapy services, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SLPA to work with prekindergarten and kindergarten students in Beckley, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to speech-language pathologists in developing and implementing individualized plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Assist with conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be licensed/certified as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of West Virginia
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with children in a school setting
  • Be able to pass a background check and obtain required clearances
