The Kitchen Manager at Fatboiz in McDonough, Georgia will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the highest level of food quality and service for our guests. This is a full-time, management role that requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for creating delicious and memorable meals. The ideal candidate will have experience in kitchen management, a love for food, and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Create and update menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Communicate with front-of-house staff regarding any menu changes or specials
- Collaborate with the restaurant's management team to improve overall operations and guest experience
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments to maintain profitability
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints related to the kitchen
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or recipes as needed
- Previous experience in kitchen management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of inventory management and cost control
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
