Horizon Health is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Behavioral Health setting. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Behavioral Health setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- Current Iowa RN license or compact/multi-state license.
- At least two years of nursing experience in psych, ER, or related behavioral health.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
