Job Overview:

Ascend is seeking a dedicated flatbed truck driver to join our team. As a dedicated flatbed truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure the safe transportation of goods by following all traffic laws and regulations
  • Meet all delivery deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate routes and schedules

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL-A
  • 6 months over the road experience
  • Previous flatbed experience
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the most recent 3-year driving period
  • Able to meet all medical/DOT requirements
