Evening Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Custodian to join our team at the Eugene School District. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our schools and facilities.

The Evening Custodian will perform a variety of custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of classrooms, hallways, and other areas. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies, emptying trash and recycling, and performing other related duties as assigned.

1. Sweep and mop floors, clean classrooms and hallways, and empty trash and recycling.
2. Restock supplies, including paper products, soap, and cleaning solutions.
3. Perform other related duties as assigned, including cleaning of restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas.
4. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
3. Good communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Experience in custodial work or a related field is preferred. Bilingual proficiency and/or multicultural experience is also highly valued.
