Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly experienced and patient-centric Primary Care Physician to join our team at MyCare Medical Group in southern Pinellas County. As a key member of our organization, you will be part of a rapidly growing company and a premier organization with market-leading patient satisfaction scores.
Responsibilities:- Manage a patient panel with an expectation of seeing 15 – 18 patients per day
- Diagnose, treat, and manage the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities
- Perform annual physicals and educate patients on preventative health measures
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, and demonstrate autonomy and proficiency in performance of comprehensive health assessments
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of charts and medical records, and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
- Provide direction and leadership to the clinic's medical support staff, and supervise nurse practitioners/physician assistants as needed
- Effectively communicate with all members of the care team to facilitate a medically appropriate and effective plan of care
- Degree from an accredited MD or DO program; Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine is preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of Florida or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment
- Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations
- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically eClinical Works (ECW)
- Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA, and ICD-10 Coding is a plus
