- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The role involves delivering high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process. The travel nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to plan, direct, provide, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities may include serving as a direct care nurse, leading nursing care, and ensuring effective communication with other healthcare professionals.
Key Duties:
- Provide care for acutely ill patients, including those in emergency situations.
- Manage swing bed patients, encompassing both skilled nursing and extended care.
- Work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
- Adapt to dynamic healthcare environments.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify issues, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Submission Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room - Required
- Ability to manage MS/LTC patients - Required
- Current BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) certifications - Required
- Covid Vaccine Card - Required, exemptions permitted
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements:
- Active Wyoming license at the time of submission
- Compact License Allowed
