Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our HIV treatment programs.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients with HIV/AIDS, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of related conditions
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and other support staff
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and adherence support
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and community-based organizations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our HIV treatment programs
- Medical Board license (MD/DO/RNP) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult Gerontology/Infectious Disease
- Valid DEA and Furnishing license
- Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
- Prior experience or interest in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient primary care setting
- Ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Competitive base salary and retention bonus up to $100,000
