Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forester to join our team at the Bureau of Land Management. As a Forester, you will play a critical role in managing and conserving our nation's natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forestry plans and projects to ensure the sustainable management of our natural resources.
  • Conduct fieldwork to assess forest conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to develop and implement forest management plans.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations to improve forest health and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders to ensure that forest management plans meet their needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in forestry or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in forestry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of forestry principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel to remote areas and may involve working in extreme weather conditions.
