Job Summary

As a Catering Captain Senior, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of catering events on campus. This position involves supervising catering department employees, preparing and serving food, and delivering food and beverages to catered functions.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train catering department employees to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Prepare and serve food at catering events, ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Deliver food and beverages to catered functions, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Interact with customers, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Catering Director.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
