Salary and Benefits
We offer an estimated annual salary range of $60,000-$65,000, depending on relevant factors such as skill sets and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). You will also have access to 401K with Company Match, 15 paid holidays per year, and 5 floating holidays. Telemedicine services are available to support your well-being. About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Servers and Desktops Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional desktop and server support to our clients. Your primary focus will be on effective provisioning, installation/configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, as well as related infrastructure. You will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within client infrastructure and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to each client's needs.
This role requires a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and a hunger for learning. You must understand the core principles of good customer service and demonstrate professionalism over the phone and in person, consistently achieving high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting end-user desktops and infrastructure systems management, with hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Microsoft 365. Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, mobile devices, software, hardware, network protocols, security, spam filtering, backup systems, and MFA/SSO/Web Security is essential. Familiarity with Mac computers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting, software management, and desktop printer management.
- Administer Active Directory, including user account management, password resets, and group assignments.
- Manage virtual desktops and administer Microsoft portals and troubleshooting, including license management and account management.
- Understand day-to-day security best practices, including password sharing, 2FA, anti-spam, endpoint security.
- Apply understanding of Group Policy and circuit troubleshooting, ISP engagement, RMA initiation, and physical networking.
- Power cycle VMs in at least one platform (DaaS, vCloud, vCenter) and use documented scripts from NCentral's Automation Manager.
- Showcase strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Produce clear and concise documentation and communicate technical data to non-technical individuals.
