Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Fallon Health's Summit ElderCare program. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with seniors to provide speech therapy services, assess their physical and cognitive abilities, and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of participants' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address participants' needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to participants and caregivers to promote independence and self-care
  • Document all direct care encounters and participate in quality surveillance
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • At least one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population in a healthcare setting
