Position Summary
The Human Resources Executive is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of human resources functions and initiatives related to workforce management, compensation structures, benefits administration, and employee relations. This role is pivotal in formulating organizational strategies, providing analytical insights, and making informed recommendations to achieve corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the leadership team, facilitating change management.

  • Oversee performance management, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
  • Lead talent acquisition and retention strategies; develop comprehensive recruitment plans to address current and future staffing needs.

  • Supervise the execution of human resources programs through the HR team, monitoring adherence to established standards.
  • Enhance the operational efficiency of the HR function and assess the organizational impact of HR initiatives.

  • Stay informed on employment legislation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

  • Prepare and maintain the employee handbook, ensuring timely updates.
  • Review and recommend improvements to HR policies and practices.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three (3) years of management-level experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional certifications or designations are advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of California State and Federal employment laws and regulations.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proven ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Experience in coaching employees and management through complex challenges while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Preferred experience in health plan administration.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have up-to-date immunizations prior to engaging in direct participant care.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with general office procedures and filing systems.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Quick learner of departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Capable of multitasking, working independently, and engaging with staff at all levels.
