Travel CT Technologist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and assisting in CT-guided procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality CT scans and coordinate the performance of CT examinations according to physician order/protocol.
- Protocol the ordered examination according to established guidelines and clinical history.
- Perform venipuncture and medication administration with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
- Accurately document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assess the patient prior to the performance of the study to ensure safety and cooperation.
- Educate the patient, answer all concerns/questions, prior to the execution of the CT exam.
- Demonstrate proficiency when working with picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Successful graduation from a Joint Commission-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT - CT CRT IV Certification Upon Hire.
- BLS RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire.
Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge- Must be knowledgeable in cross-sectional anatomy and technical factors.
- Demonstrates proficiency with multiple computerized systems.
- Demonstrates proficiency when working with PACS to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
