Role Overview
The Surgical Technologist II will play a crucial role in the surgical environment by:
  • Preparing and maintaining the surgical suite.
  • Managing instruments during surgical procedures.
  • Ensuring the sterile field is upheld.
  • Assessing and responding to evolving conditions throughout surgical operations.
Additionally, this position requires a solid understanding of surgical procedures and protocols, with opportunities to serve as a preceptor when necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma.
  • An associate degree or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training.
  • A minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Work Environment
