Regional Medical Director

The Regional Medical Director will provide strategic leadership and support for psychiatric clinicians, focusing on clinician education, engagement, and professional growth and development. This role will work in partnership with the VP of Operations to enhance, plan for, and implement clinical strategy and related operations, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinically focused regional onboarding training and support new clinicians through provision of training, education, and supervision.
- Facilitate training, coaching, and education to strengthen best practices and foster professional growth among clinicians.
- Meet regularly with strong performers to solicit feedback, mentor, engage, and encourage continued professional development.
- Lead efforts to foster a positive culture and continually engage and empower clinicians in partnership with the state leadership team.
- Manage and ensure compliance of APRN Director span-of-control administrative time and patient caseloads to expected standards.
- Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly to regional leadership in accordance with the company's strategies and processes.
- Implement national clinical policies and any state-specific addendums through regional procedures and workflows.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to enhance clinician professional growth development and communicate regularly with members of the operations team to flag issues related to clinician satisfaction and retention.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- 5+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience in medical leadership.
- Active DEA registration.
- Applicable board certification.
The Regional Medical Director should reside and practice in the market where they serve as Director. A minimum of 30% of the Regional Medical Director's time will be spent onsite supporting clinicians and collaborating with operations. Additional travel to attend division and national leadership meetings is required quarterly.
