Position Overview:

We are in search of a talented and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves working with diverse machinery and equipment, performing both routine and emergency maintenance to ensure seamless operations. This is a full-time, permanent position that demands a high level of technical skill and a strong dedication to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

1. Conducting routine and preventative maintenance on various machinery, including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
2. Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and scheduling maintenance tasks.
3. Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, including working with PLC controls and electrical schematics.
4. Maintaining and repairing pneumatic systems.
5. Providing mechanical maintenance to ensure optimal machinery performance.
6. Performing facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing and general upkeep.
7. Using power and hand tools for repairs and installations.
8. Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required.
9. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in all work performed.
10. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping purposes.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar capacity.
2. Proven expertise in machine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in working with motors, mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
4. Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, including experience with electrical controls and PLC systems.
5. Experience with CMMS for tracking and scheduling maintenance tasks.
6. Skills in facility maintenance, including plumbing.
7. Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
8. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
9. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
11. Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
12. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
