Job Overview:

The Cashier for Food Service plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for cafeteria patrons. This position requires effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to the cashier agreement.
  • Facilitate communication between cafeteria patrons and Food & Nutrition Services.
  • Provide services to a diverse range of patrons, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
  • Perform various tasks including setup, stocking, clerical duties, cleaning, cashiering, and money management in retail areas.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.

Desired:

  • Three years of customer service experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Screening Requirements:

  • Background check.
  • License and education verification.
  • Employment reference verification.
