Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington.

About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services to patients, nurses, and physicians. This includes dispensing medications, interpreting IV admixture orders, and preparing primary IV/solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders
  • Prepare primary IV/solutions and manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations as needed
  • Supervise support personnel and ensure the final check of all completed work
  • Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
  • Provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care services
Requirements
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in a setting appropriate to the work assignment
