Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Kaleida Health.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician to provide supportive and restorative care to patients. You will be responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct health teaching and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
