About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general nuclear medicine and PET CT exams, providing exceptional customer service and image quality.
  • Receive, calibrate, log, administer and monitor the decay of radioactive isotopes, adhering to appropriate policies, procedures and radiation safety practices.
  • Record patients' medical information and coordinate patient flow, ensuring all exams are complete and accurate.
  • Adhere to the facility ICARE values and be knowledgeable in the handling of radioactive materials.
  • Properly measure radioactive waste and dispose of it in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
