We are seeking a skilled Machine Setup Specialist to join our team at SEB Professional North America. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery on our production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Proficiently operate machinery on production lines, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
- Setting and Adjusting: Adjust machine settings according to established procedures, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
- Material Handling: Load and fit metal sheets in machines, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Identify and report safety hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Quality Control: Conduct first article inspections and communicate machine operation or part defects to the production team.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience as a machine operator or in a related field.
- Skills: Knowledge of working with sheet metal, advanced mathematical and measuring skills, and precise actions and attention to detail.
- Communication: Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders, and good communication skills.
- Physical Demands: Standing and walking, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
