We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of civil engineering projects, from initial planning and feasibility studies through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Perform site design and land development tasks, including grading, paving, and drainage design.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water modeling, and prepare related reports.
  • Design and oversee the construction of wastewater, storm water, and water distribution systems, including gravity systems, lift stations, force mains, and low-pressure systems.
  • Coordinate with surveyors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle, and implement strategies to mitigate project risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, with a focus on land development and site design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in relation to paving, grading, drainage, and infrastructure systems.
  • Experience with hydrology, water modeling, and preparing hydraulic reports.
  • Familiarity with wastewater, storm water, and water distribution systems, including gravity systems, lift stations, force mains, and low-pressure systems.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
  • A professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
