Position Details:
We are looking for a passionate Associate Attorney with expertise in Business and Employment Litigation. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a vibrant team of legal professionals, where you will have significant responsibilities and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a varied caseload involving business and employment litigation, including employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide clients with informed legal advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate intricate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation settings.
- Formulate legal strategies and deliver oral and written legal opinions.
- Conduct legal discovery and gather evidence for trial preparation.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and trends in business and employment litigation.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation.
- Outstanding legal research and writing capabilities.
- Proven experience in legal discovery and drafting legal opinions.
