Overview

The U.S. Department of the Interior is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Home Living Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational atmosphere for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold a secure and encouraging learning environment that promotes the comprehensive growth of every student and staff member through diverse cultural, social, spiritual, physical, and academic experiences.
  • Manage budgetary programs, procurement processes, and human resources services effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional educational opportunities from early childhood through adulthood, while addressing the cultural and economic needs of the community.
  • Oversee both short-term and long-term planning, organization, execution, maintenance, and coordination of budgetary activities related to the Blackfeet Dormitory.
  • Conduct operations involving Federal computer systems, including the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS), Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS), and various word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.

Employment Conditions

  • Appointment may require a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation for a Public Trust position.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a background clearance.
  • A valid state driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Eligibility:

  • Preference will be given to applicants with Indian Preference.
