Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to work in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular technology and excellent communication skills. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and assisting physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing real-time imaging and technical support.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in cardiovascular technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Philips X-Ray System and McKesson for Cath Lab.
  • Knowledge of hemo dynamic monitoring and obtaining vitals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
