Job Description

The Care Team Manager Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of residents in assisted living and memory care facilities. This position involves temporarily filling in as a Care Team Manager and assisting in the onboarding and mentoring of new team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various New Perspective communities to temporarily act as a Care Team Manager when needed.
  • Mentor and support Care Team Managers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee the caregiving team, including staffing, training, scheduling, morale, and performance management.
  • Ensure proper staffing and policy compliance to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents.
  • Maintain accurate resident care records and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the best possible care.
  • Enforce attendance, break, and dress code policies to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Attend required trainings and safety procedures to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices.
  • Lead by example and instill the company's values to bring happiness to residents every day.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team and residents.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in healthcare or relevant experience.
  • CNA and medication aide certification (in applicable states).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Preferred experience in senior living or healthcare.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and to assume on-call responsibilities as assigned.
