As a key member of our production team, the Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that all products adhere to the highest quality standards while complying with company cGMP regulations. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes.

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 40-48 hours per week (subject to workload)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality control on the production line to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Collect swab samples for cleaning verification as required for both compounding and production processes.
  • Conduct line clearance checks to confirm that all products align with the designated work or batch orders.
  • Monitor production lot changes to guarantee the correct lot codes are utilized.
  • Perform in-process checks to ensure that all quality specifications, including fill weight and gauge measurements, are met.
  • Inspect packaging to verify the quality of finished containers and shipping boxes.
  • Approve finished goods pallets, ensuring accurate counts and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-checks on the Compounding team prior to batching to ensure all materials are properly staged and measured, and that cleanliness and cGMP practices are upheld.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
