Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Services: Ensure that resident rooms and public areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and attractive manner.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Operate and maintain equipment, and ensure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored.
  • Supply Management: Maintain an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies to perform daily tasks, and keep supervisory staff informed of supply needs.
  • Quality Control: Adhere to established cleaning, cross-contamination, and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Report all hazardous conditions and equipment malfunctions to supervisory staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or 1 year of previous job experience in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping duties preferred.
Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in a resident care environment that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You may be exposed to unpleasant odors and may encounter physically or verbally aggressive residents.

Working conditions include normal indoor temperatures, and you may be required to perform duties outdoors during varying seasons.

You may come into contact with residents who have infectious diseases or bodily fluids or blood, and may be exposed to hazardous materials and facility equipment.
