Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role:

This per diem position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care. You will circulate a variety of ambulatory surgical cases, including ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Urology, following established standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, utilizing strong critical thinking skills to ensure optimal care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and effective care during procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of RN experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
