Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing complex system/technical development from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, and driving planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of effort consisting of complex system/technical development from concept, through design, implementation, test, manufacturing/deployment, sustainment and modifications.
  • Ensure alignment with Engineering and Technology strategy, technical feasibility, and manages technical risk.
  • Drive planning and execution across all Engineering Teams to meet contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements and satisfy customer needs.
  • Act as single voice and point of contact to program management and senior leadership on program execution.
  • Develop innovative and scalable standardized processes to maintain agility and flexibility.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or a Bachelors degree with experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Engineering experience in an aircraft design, testing, integration, or sustainment environment
  • Project management experience

  • EVMS or Cost/Schedule Principles experience
  • Proposal Development experience
  • Experience with contract Language
  • Technical Supplier/Sub-Contract Management and Integration experience
