Wiring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Specialist to join our production team at Micro Tech Staffing Group in West Boylston, MA. This role involves working with various alloys to produce wire rods of different diameters.

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in heavy-duty manufacturing and machine shop experience. As a Wiring Specialist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating drawing and annealing equipment, performing quality checks, and adjusting tooling/machines as needed.

• Drawing and annealing wire rods of various alloys to produce a range of diameters
• Setting up and operating drawing and annealing equipment
• Performing quality checks and adjusting tooling/machines as required
• Operating production equipment to produce finished products and prepare items for shipment

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Good mechanical skills and basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to use production tools and read a micrometer
• Physical dexterity with good vision and eye-hand coordination
• Prior experience in wire processing or handling is a plus but not required

The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 per year based on 1st shift pay rates of $20/hour for a 4-10 hour day schedule.
