Key Responsibilities:
  • Profile and analyze source data from mainframe extracts, flat files, SQL Server, web services, and other sources using Informatica ETL.
  • Analyze and evaluate data sources, data volume, and business rules to ensure accurate data processing.
  • Design and develop ETL Informatica jobs as per business requirements, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Configure and script business rules and transformation rules in Informatica Power Center.
  • Understand and design data models for Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), map data, and run ETL jobs to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform unit testing and system testing of all deliverables to ensure high-quality results.
  • Understand the deployment process of Informatica PowerCenter and IICS jobs, and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Have knowledge of version control tools like Bitbucket, Git, and understand branching and check-in of code.
  • Fix defects for system testing, operational acceptance tests, and production.
Desirable Skills:
  • Good experience with defect tracking tools.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex ETL processes.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Good understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:

Any graduate with a degree in Engineering/Science. A great communicator of ideas and solutions, and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues.
