We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Firmenich. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory, from raw materials to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory deployment plans
- Manage and track inventory levels, reconciling variances and identifying root causes
- Establish and maintain critical inventory parameters, including ABC analysis and safety stock settings
- Monitor and analyze inventory metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain inventory planning assumptions, including safety stocks, lead times, and order quantities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct physical inventory counts and audits
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, warehousing, and/or supply chain management
- Strong organizational skills and proven track record of working with all levels of an organization
- ERP system experience, with SAP preferred
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
