Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our diesel fleet by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to extend the life of our vehicles.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Conduct road service calls and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all repair orders and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- At least 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with ability to analyze complex problems.
- Prior experience with administering PM programs and maintaining inventory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with others as needed.
- Familiarity with EPA and OSHA regulations and ability to maintain compliance.
- Estimated salary: $28-33 per hour (dependent on experience).
