We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at the Materials and Fuels Complex. As a positron annihilation spectroscopy intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects and contribute to the development of new technologies in nuclear energy and materials science.
Responsibilities:- Support gamma spectroscopy work at a radiological facility
- Conduct data analysis of positron lifetime spectroscopy and doppler broadening spectroscopy
- Collaborate with our team of scientists and engineers to develop new research projects
- Graduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Physics, Applied Physics, Nuclear engineering or Material Science
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)
