Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment and treatment services to inmates, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the mental health needs of inmates
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify inmates with mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to inmates
  • Develop and implement programs to promote mental health and well-being among inmates
  • Provide training and consultation to other staff members on mental health issues
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology
  • At least one year of experience in a correctional facility setting
  • Experience in providing psychological assessment and treatment services to inmates
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Working Conditions
