The Outreach Team is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in registering new voters and supporting the fight to protect access to safe and legal abortion in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner to deliver a compelling campaign message and collect complete survey answers from voters.
- Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills and strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve campaign goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations to build support for the campaign.
- Conduct outreach and engagement activities in various settings, including door-to-door canvassing, community events, and phone banking.
Requirements:
- Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Hard worker who is motivated to engage with the community and achieve campaign goals.
- Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community.
- Prior experience in canvassing, community outreach, or a related field is not required, but a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.

- A competitive hourly rate of $25-$27, depending on the role.
