Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Director to lead our Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services department at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the operations of the department, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the operations of the Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services department
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff members
  • Develop and implement performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Formulate and manage the department's budget
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory laws, standards, and protocols
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective department operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and training to staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in rehabilitative medicine
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation setting
  • Strong knowledge of physical medicine, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
