We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, Maine.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will provide medical care to patients in the inpatient medical surgical unit and conduct consultations in the Psychiatric and Addiction Recovery Center. This is a fast-paced environment where you will work collaboratively with other providers in the Emergency Medicine Department and on the Medical Surgical Unit Floor.
The Position Offers- Competitive compensation package including a sign on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement
- Benefits including Paid Time Off, CME time, retirement options with employer contributions, medical, dental, vision, life/disability coverage, and more
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner's program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program
- Maine NP or PA License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Prior experience in hospital medicine is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP/PA is preferred
