We are currently representing a client that innovates and develops RF and Radar technologies for advanced radar systems utilized in various commercial and military applications.

We are in search of a Senior RF Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge radar and communication solutions. This position involves the design, enhancement, and evaluation of RF circuits and systems. The selected engineer will join a dynamic and forward-thinking product development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and refine communication and radar systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement, test, and enhance mesh network configurations.
  • Conduct characterization and field evaluations to fine-tune systems and algorithms, particularly for real-world applications and client specifications.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing testing solutions, particularly for over-the-air assessments and system functionality.
  • Automating testing processes.
  • Engaging in the design and validation of dual-mode radar and communication modules.
  • Contributing to hardware design and the partitioning of hardware/software/firmware.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in RF circuits and systems.
  • Experience with radio systems operating at mmWave frequencies and over-the-air testing is advantageous.
  • Ability to devise testing solutions and automate testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, Python, and Matlab.
  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic fields and waves, along with basic antenna principles.

Experience with phased arrays and radar systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Software Defined Radio technologies (e.g., ADI transceivers, Ettus, EPIQ) and FPGAs.
  • Proven hardware debugging skills using test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical challenges through effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by good interpersonal abilities.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in RF circuits and systems is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is necessary.
