Job Summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Herald House, a 4-bedroom Community Crisis Home. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide rehabilitative support services to adults with developmental disabilities and challenging behavior service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) principles and natural environment training arrangements.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapeutic environment.
  • Collaborate with the individual support team and partnering agencies.
  • Provide physical care, training, supervision, and recreation of persons served as prescribed in the Individual Program Plan (IPP) and Individual Behavior Support Plan (IBSP).
  • Act as an appropriate role model for persons served by dressing and behaving in a socially appropriate manner.
  • Prepare meals and snacks as indicated on weekly menus while involving persons served in meal preparation tasks to the extent that persons served choose to participate.
  • Drive persons served to medical and dental appointments, and any outside activities, as assigned by the Program Administrator or program designee.
Requirements
  • High School Graduation or G.E.D.
  • One (1) Year experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with challenging behavior service needs.
  • Board certified as a Registered Behavior Technician within 60 days of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.
  • Within one year of employment, all direct care staff shall complete both segments of Direct Support Professional (DSP) competency-based training course including the competency tests or pass the department-approved challenge tests applicable to both training segments.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment.
Working Conditions

This position requires transporting Members in program van (acceptable driving record) and driving personal vehicle for company business such as trainings, offsite meetings, etc.

Benefits

Telecare Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $31.51, with geographic differentials applied. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
