Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assist patients to ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to complete assignments and prioritize tasks
- Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients and visitors
- Identify and remove potential safety hazards from the environment
- Perform patient checks and document patient whereabouts
- Account for patient belongings and sharps
- Provide information and referrals to patients and visitors
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Deliver patient meals and assist with nutritional needs
- Provide specialized suicide watch and maintain a therapeutic milieu
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- CNA, EMT, or Security experience preferred
- AHA BLS CPR certification required
- Experience working with behavioral health patients in in-patient and out-patient settings preferred
