At Remington Seeds, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a Receiving Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our seeds throughout the receiving process.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receiving Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying the purity, moisture content, and mechanical damage of seed received at our plant. This will involve performing soak tests on every truck load of seed prior to unloading and thoroughly cleaning all equipment to maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform work activities safely and in compliance with our Quality Management System.

• Verify hilum purity, moisture content, contaminants, and mechanical damage by performing a soak test on every truck load of seed received prior to unloading.

• Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure product integrity.

• Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment.

• Ensure product integrity by avoiding variety mixtures in receiving bins.

• Assist in coordinating seed arrival from on-farm storage.

• Collaborate with the Conditioning Supervisor and Operator in the conditioning tower as needed.

• Supervise other employees in the receiving area as required.

• Ability to work safely and follow company protocols.
• Basic math skills and ability to estimate quantities.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
