Job Title: Behavior Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at GOLDSTAR REHABILITATION INC | MY TEAM ABA. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention and individualized treatment plans for children between the ages of 2 and 21.
  • Conduct discrete trials, natural environment teaching, and utilize a variety of skill building and reinforcement methods inline with the treatment plan during sessions.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions for all programs targeted and enter into EMR daily.
  • Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school Diploma or College Degree required.
  • RBT 40 Hour Training course is required prior to working with a client.
  • Experience: One year experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
  • Dependability: Consistency and reliability is crucial for the individual's success.
  • Knowledge of Autism and related behavioral interventions preferred.
  • Integrity: You must perform your role with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
  • Positivity & Patience: It's all about a positive attitude.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Background Check: Willing to have background check completed.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable car and driver's license for commuting to the home of clients.
