Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Continuously build experience and expertise as an automotive mechanic across various vehicle makes and models
  • Perform thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to troubleshoot guest concerns and provide exceptional customer service
  • Adhere to our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of heavy objects
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces and navigating complex vehicle systems
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods
