Fairview Range Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated Urology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to enhance our urology department. This role is situated within a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Clinical Environment: Our providers benefit from a robust multi-specialty clinic framework, collaborating with over 22 physicians and 6 NP/PAs across various specialties, including pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, internal medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, and sports medicine. Access to consulting physicians in neurology, cardiology, and oncology is readily available, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Work Schedule: This full-time position entails 80 hours per pay period, with 8-hour day shifts and occasional weekend work as required.
Compensation and Benefits: This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
About Fairview Mesaba Clinic: Fairview Mesaba Clinic is affiliated with Fairview Range Medical Center, the leading medical facility in the region, equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical technologies. Our services encompass a fully staffed emergency department, extensive laboratory and imaging services, respiratory therapy, radiation therapy, and a variety of specialty clinics.
About Fairview Range: Fairview Range operates as part of M Health Fairview, a collaboration between Fairview Health Services, the University of Minnesota, and M Physicians. This partnership facilitates access to cutting-edge medical research and specialized care, ensuring a continuum of healthcare services for all age groups and health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time commitment with 36 patient contact hours weekly.
- Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records.
- Collaboration in a facility with 4 operating rooms.
- Directly support and work alongside two urology physicians.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements for Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner:
- Demonstrated progressive clinical experience.
- Master's degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a master's or doctorate in advanced practice OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a master's or doctorate.
- Possession of an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from the MN Board of Nursing or certification in Physician Assistant studies.
- Preferred clinical experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting.
- Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
